Founded on the invention of the world's first reverse vending machine, we are now responsible for approximately 91,000 installations across more than 60 markets. By providing an effective and efficient way of collecting, sorting and processing containers, TOMRA's reverse vending systems make it easy for consumers to recycle and contribute to a more sustainable planet.

By centralizing key services such as remote monitoring, first‑line support, and service coordination, and leveraging Serbia’s strong talent pool and English proficiency, the SSC improves consistency, efficiency, and execution across Europe.

Job Description

As a Data & Process Analyst, you create transparency, actionable insights, and structured understanding across the Shared Service Center and supported market units in TOMRA Collection Europe, even in complex and evolving data environments.
You act as a bridge between operations, finance, systems and market units. In this role, you turn complex and sometimes inconsistent data into clear analyses, KPIs and meaningful storylines. These insights support decision‑making, performance steering and continuous improvement, while also helping clarify what the data means in practice.

Key Responsibilities

Data Understanding and Governance

  • Support the understanding, consistency, and practical usability of relevant data across systems, reports, and performance metrics (e.g. master data, operational data)

  • Ensure data quality, consistency and integrity across systems and reports

  • Support the development of clear definitions, KPI logic, and data standards in collaboration with relevant stakeholders, especially where current logic is still unclear or inconsistent.

  • Identify data issues, root causes and corrective actions in collaboration with operations and systems teams

Analysis & Business insights

  • Perform regular and ad‑hoc analyses to support operational and financial steering and improve business decision making.

  • Analyse trends such as margin development, volume changes, cost drivers and productivity

  • Build scenarios and simulate market or process changes to support decision‑making

  • Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis with data‑driven insights

KPIs, Transparency & Reporting

  • Increase transparency by defining and tracking tangible, business‑relevant KPIs

  • Design, build and maintain dashboards and reports for SSC management and market units, ensuring that KPI logic is credible, understandable, and practically usable.

  • Ensure KPIs are understood, trusted and actively used in performance reviews and governance forums

Continuous Improvement & Scalability

  • Connect data insights with underlying business processes

  • Identify process inefficiencies and improvement opportunities based on data insights

  • Highlight automation and standardization potential across SSC processes

  • Quantify benefits (e.g. effort reduction, error reduction, financial impact) to support prioritization

Stakeholder Communication & Storytelling

  • Translate complex analyses into clear storylines and recommendations for different audiences

  • Translate the business meaning behind the numbers into clear implications, recommendations, and decision relevant insight.

  • Prepare management‑ready materials that support decisions, not just reporting

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, or a comparable field
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in data analysis, business intelligence, controlling, reporting, or in‑house consulting
  • Experience in shared services, operations, finance, or consulting environments is an advantage
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to structure, analyse, and interpret complex data
  • A solid foundation in Power BI combined with strong Excel skills; experience with other BI tools (e.g. Snowflake) is an advantage
  • Solid understanding of KPIs, controlling principles, and performance management
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as IFS, as well as other operational platforms, is a plus
  • Very good command of English, both written and spoken

Personal Qualifications:

  • Ability to understand new business contexts quickly and ask the right questions
  • Ability to structure and interpret complex, incomplete, or evolving data landscapes.
  • Strong storytelling skills: turning numbers into clear messages and decisions
  • Confident communicator with stakeholders across SSC, markets and functions
  • Hands-on, proactive and improvement-oriented mindset
