The Shared Service Center (SSC) in Serbia serves as a strategic enabler for TOMRA Collection Europe, providing a strong operational backbone to support scalable growth across markets. By centralizing key services such as remote monitoring, first‑line support, and service coordination, and leveraging Serbia’s strong talent pool and English proficiency, the SSC improves consistency, efficiency, and execution across Europe.
Job Description
TOMRA Collection is building and scaling our Shared Services Centre (SSC) in Belgrade, and we are looking for a hands-on People & Organisation (HR) Coordinator to help shape our local presence.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys execution and ownership. You will play a key role in strengthening our local talent pipeline, increasing TOMRA’s visibility as an employer, and ensuring a professional, fast, and people‑focused experience across recruitment, onboarding, and everyday employee interactions on site.
The Role
As People & Organisation (HR) Coordinator, you will be a core part of TOMRA’s local setup in Belgrade. You will run and coordinate end‑to‑end recruitment activities, support offer and hiring documentation in close partnership with stakeholders, and ensure smooth onboarding and a positive employee experience on site.
You will work closely with Area P&O, hiring managers, and local operations leaders, ensuring consistency, compliance, and high execution quality as the organisation grows.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Attraction & Belgrade Market Visibility
- Execute local initiatives to increase TOMRA’s visibility as an employer in the Belgrade market, including referral activation, targeted sourcing channels, and university or community touchpoints
- Support simple, practical employer branding assets aligned with TOMRA’s values
- Build and maintain pipelines for recurring roles and share clear weekly “pipeline snapshots” with hiring managers
Recruitment Execution (Speed & Quality)
- Coordinate recruitment activities end‑to‑end, including shortlist support, interview scheduling, candidate communication, and progress tracking
- Conduct first‑round interviews, assessing capability, motivation, language skills, customer orientation, and cultural fit
- Prepare structured, clear candidate summaries to support efficient and informed hiring decisions
Offer Process & Hiring Documentation (Site Coordination)
- Coordinate the local hiring paperwork flow, including document collection, preparation of offer packs, and routing to the correct approvers
- Ensure accuracy of entity details, addresses, and documentation standards
- Maintain a structured and up‑to‑date Hiring Pack Library (templates, checklists, onboarding forms) to keep hiring repeatable and audit‑ready
Onboarding & Employee Experience
- Coordinate onboarding activities to ensure Day 1 readiness, buddy assignment, first‑week agendas, and 30/60/90‑day check‑ins with new hires and line managers
- Support a positive office and employee experience through practical actions, feedback loops, pulse checks, and coordination of issue resolution
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with Area P&O to ensure compliance, correct documentation, and a consistent employee experience
- Partner with local operations leaders to align hiring priorities with onboarding capacity and site readiness
Qualifications
What You Bring
We are looking for someone who has:
- At least 3 years of experience in Talent Acquisition coordination, recruitment operations, people operations, or HR generalist execution
- Experience in a Shared Service Centre or high‑growth environment
- Confidence conducting first‑round interviews and producing clear, structured candidate summaries
- Strong coordination and follow‑up discipline across multiple stakeholders
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage documentation accurately and confidentially
- Fluency in English and Serbian (written and spoken)
Nice to have:
- Exposure to employer branding initiatives, events, or community pipeline building
- Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and HR Systems and structured hiring workflows
