Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Mechanical development or design change of modules, assemblies, or parts
- Preparation or participation in the preparation of technical documentation (drawings, 3D models, manuals, guidelines, procedures, technical notes, 2D and 3D layouts…)
- Customization of new or existing machines based on approved customer requests
- Active participation in continuous improvement of the existing portfolio of machines based on feedback from the customer, internal production, service department, quality department or suppliers
- Production, Service, Quality and Supply chain support and troubleshooting
- Customers and suppliers visit
Execution of all assigned tasks should follow and respect:
- Internal policies, procedures, and instructions
- TOMRA Design principles including food industry standards, guidelines, and technical documentation standards
- Defined Change management process in TOMRA Food for all changes
- General Compliance of designed equipment for customers or TOMRA internal use
- TOMRA project model and approach including dedicated tools or databases
- Close cooperation with mechanical team and other R&D organizations in various company locations
- Attends trainings and business trips required by the employer
Qualifications
- Fluent in both Slovak and English - mandatory
- University degree - Masters or PhD (technical / electro-mechanical engineering field) - mandatory
- At least 3 years of experiences in Mechanical design
- Advanced mechanical design techniques knowledge
- Advanced knowledge of technical documentation and standards
- 3D modelling (pref. Solidworks) - advanced
- 2D CAD (pref. AutoCAD, DraftSight) - advanced
- Experiences & Knowledge of PDM or PLM systems principles
- Experiences with ERP systems
- MS Office - advanced user
