Job Description
We are looking for a Warehouse Storeperson to join our Parts & Supply Chain team, based at our Papamoa office in Tauranga. This position will initially be offered as a fixed-term contract through to December 2025.
The purpose of this role is to ensure our customers receive world-class service by efficiently managing the flow of products and components from inbound receipt to outbound transportation. You will be responsible for the safe, secure, and effective storage and handling of goods—ensuring our operations teams have the right equipment, in the right condition, at the right time to deliver outstanding products and solutions to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform tasks associated with one or more areas of operations in stores including inwards goods, kitting, picking, or despatching
- Ensure all stores procedures are carried out safely, accurately, and efficiently
- Support with inventory control and internal stock takes as required
- Handle equipment and materials with care to minimise potential damage through processing, storage and delivery
- Conducts receipting in IFS and ensures IFS accurately reflects actual stock movements
- Maintains a tidy and orderly workstation and department
- Ensures all tasks are carried out in manner that minimises potential harm to yourself and others
- Materials transfers, stock rotation and warehousing
- Cross functional within various warehouse tasks and other production teams
- Carries out all tasks as could be reasonably expected of you
- Promote a “Safety first” culture throughout the company, our customers, and our industry
Qualifications
Required Skills/abilities:
- Strong customer service attitude
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills for a demanding and customer focused working environment
- Methodical and systematic
- Reliable and willing to work extra hours when required
- Strong team player
- Flexibility, to be cross functionally trained
- Computer literacy
- Intermediate understanding of ERP systems or similar
- Forklift/Reach truck license is advantageous
- Ability to drive without restrictions in residency country.
