Job Description

As the Accounts Payable (AP) Team Leader for the Food Division in the EMEA region, you'll manage the AP activities and the Shared Service Centre. Your main tasks include handling supplier invoices and employee expense notes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and supporting local Finance Managers. You'll also supervise month-end processes, collaborate with Finance Managers, lead AP analysis, and assist with financial reports.

Specifically, you'll:

  1. Supervise the EMEA Shared Service Centre for AP.
  2. Ensure accurate recording of supplier invoices and employee expense notes.
  3. Manage invoice approvals and travel expenses.
  4. Handle supplier payments and maintain supplier relationships.
  5. Reconcile accounts payable ledger and resolve discrepancies.
  6. Prepare AP reports and communicate with business departments.
  7. Identify process improvement opportunities and automation.
  8. Act as AP expert in commercial projects.
  9. Lead and develop the AP team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
  10. Provide support for audits and internal controls.

Overall, your role involves overseeing AP processes, supporting financial activities, and fostering team development while ensuring compliance and efficiency.

 

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years leading an AP team, with preference within industrial sector.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a collaborative team.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
  • Accounting knowledge in local GAAP, IFRS and managing complex AP processes.
  • Accurate and Analytical.
  • Meticulous and caring for the details.
  • Proactive.
  • IT & Process oriented, obsession for automation & efficiency, good knowledge of excel.
  • Excellent command of English and Slovakian B2+, other languages a plus.
