Job Description

You will be the Team Leader of a team of Service Engineers who is responsible for supervising and coordinating the work of your team of FSEs who perform maintenance, repair, and installation of our machines at our customers.

The main job duties of a Team Leader in this role include:

  • First contact for team members for Organizational questions on Support & Advice as well as Health and safety,
  • Mentoring and onboarding of new team members,
  • Monitoring and evaluating the performance of team members,
  • Maintaining & developing Team-spirit & company engagement,
  • Participation on recruiting process (with line manager),
  • Deliver excellent customer service to both external and internal customers,
  • Implementing processes and procedures to improve the efficiency and quality of the team's work,
  • Prioritize Managing team schedules and workloads to ensure that all work is completed within the required time frame while maximizing productivity,
  • Drive team to meet our goals for customer satisfaction, revenue and control of cost.
  • Overview in weekly dispatching & advise planning,
  • Execute customer interventions to resolve technical issues,
  • Follow-up on escalated customers problems and keep customers constantly informed,
  • Process of continuous improvements within the area of responsibility.
  • Participate on designated projects or company transversal initiatives as requested by line management,
  • Business case preparations for improvements,
  • Design, implement and execute to achieve service standards to meet and exceed internal & external customer expectations,
  • Manage change in the organization.

Qualifications

  • Ideal candidate has multiple years of experience as Field Service Engineer or other internal Service Function.
  • Mentorship-trainings or leadership trainings are also considered a plus.
  • World class customer service skills
  • Strong knowledge of business line processes, products, and services
  • Goal driven with a desire to exceed customer satisfaction goals
  • Strong verbal/written/interpersonal communication
  • Analytic mindset, both in a technical environment as in a people environment.
  • Basic MS-package knowledge required.
  • Fluent in both English and Dutch is essential, other language is a plus.
  • A Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronic, mechanical, mechatronics, sustainable manufacturing, or industrial engineering is preferred or equivalent experience.
  • People person & motivator, that feels and knows the challenges our Field Service Engineers face and can report them in a correct manner.
  • Strong believer in a “lead by example” principle.
  • Strong and firm advocate of all the Health & Safety rules that apply to our sector.
  • Travel
    • Domestic and international travel may be required but will not be more than 50% of your working time to perform customers interventions.
    • Working or travelling might occur during weekends and /or public holidays.
    • Must have a driving license and a valid passport.
