To support our expansion on a project for Bose in the Automotive domain, we are looking for a Regular/Senior Test Engineer with embedded, Python and audio testing experience.
 

Role

As a Software Development Engineer in Test, you will work with our embedded engineering teams in Automotive to design, automate, and execute tests for audio systems and components. You will operate, configure, and maintain the on‑site test bench in Warsaw, collaborate cross‑functionally, and help us deliver reliable, scalable, and automated test solutions that ensure top‑quality software for our customer.
 

What you will do

• Set up, configure, operate, and maintain the local test bench; oversee day‑to‑day readiness of hardware setups used for validation
• Design and implement automated tests in Python (e.g., PyTest), including white‑box and black‑box levels
• Prepare test data, run test campaigns, analyze results, and create clear, actionable reports for engineering stakeholders
• Contribute to continuous improvement of test coverage, stability, and execution speed
• Collaborate within cross‑functional teams
   

What we expect (must‑have)

• Proven experience in Python for test automation
• Hands‑on background in embedded software testing and working with hardware/test benches
• Practical use of Git and Jira/Confluence in day‑to‑day work
• Experience with audio testing (e.g., validating audio pipelines, signal paths, acoustics‑related scenarios)
• Communication in English at working proficiency
• On‑site presence in Warsaw with a hybrid mode (~2 remote days/week on average), depending on current lab workload
   

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Automotive development/testing practices (e.g., ASPICE exposure)
• Experience with common lab equipment and integration environments (e.g., signal generation/measurement, power & networking, CI/CD)
• Knowledge of common embedded/audio interfaces and protocols
