As the Enterprise Applications Business Coordinator, you will drive integration and act as a liaison between business and services providers by providing support to the business for service delivery escalations, breaches, non-project communication and licensing for all Business and Integration applications.

It is one of the largest pure-play producers and exporters of thermal coal in South Africa based on aggregate coal reserves and marketable coal production. Thungela focuses on exporting its thermal coal portfolio mainly to the Indian, Asian, Southeast Asian, Middle East and North African markets.
Job Description
You will ensure the effective execution of the application lifecycle management processes for Business and Integration applications by ensuring compliance with applicable policies, practices and guidelines throughout the process.
More of your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring that business queries and escalated issues are effectively addressed
- Supporting Enterprise Application specialists with planning and tracking BAU projects
- Facilitating monthly and quarterly engagements with functional business stakeholders
- Providing technical input in relation to Enterprise Applications
- Ensuring that functional and business demand requests and requirements are unpacked and help coordinate the pipeline reviews and prioritisation discussions to identify value for business
- Ensuring the provision of quality services from vendors continuously to ensure that issues are resolved and that applications are stable
- Driving collaboration to establish optimal engagements and ways of working and foster strong working relationships with system and process owners
- Assisting with coordinating the integrated release management process for Enterprise Applications
- Collaborating with key stakeholders and service providers for successful releases and ensuring alignment with functional teams and enterprise guidelines
- Coordinating the process of continuously improving Enterprise Applications
- Analysing and recommending enhancements based on business needs and trends as well as implementing approved improvements to optimise application performance
- Coordinating the root cause analysis process leading to the identification of improvement opportunities
- Analysing data trends, vendor, and business input to identify areas for improvement
- Supporting governance for IM solutions and Business and Integration application services in accordance with enterprise guidelines, policies and practices
- Supporting risk management for Enterprise Applications to manage emerging risks
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in IT (NQF 6 or 7)
- Relevant technical certifications
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Information Management, preferably in the mining industry
- Good experience in administrating multiple outsourced/external service providers.
- Good experience with both cloud and on-premises business applications and integration process
- Experience on Mine Technical Systems (MTS) or SAP S4H (advantageous)
- Business Analysis and Release Management (advantageous)
