Position Overview

The Research Associate position sits within our Library division, which is responsible for publishing research that allows institutional investors to make better and faster investment decisions. We conduct in depth Interviews with senior executives and industry specialists to proactively unearth critical insights and generate unfiltered transcripts. 

We are looking to recruit an Associate to assist our growing team in Hong Kong, where they will identify and engage with the most relevant industry professionals to convince them to take part in upcoming interview discussions with our team of analysts.

What you’ll do

• Recruit Industry Experts – Engage with senior executives and industry leaders, securing the most relevant experts for our Sector Analysts to conduct in-depth 1:1 interviews.

• Tackle Complex Projects – Research sectors, identify key catalysts, and source the right experts to provide essential information for our clients.

• Grow and Innovate – Develop your sales, negotiation, and research skills, while contributing to new strategies that drive success for both you and the company.

• Collaborate with Sector Analysts – Work closely with our Sector Analysts to help shape their work, including crafting the angles they pursue and developing insightful questions for their expert interviews.

• Drive Client Impact – Help to uncover critical insights via unfiltered transcripts that inform smarter, faster investment decisions.

• Bachelor’s degree

  • Strong academic standing from a top-tier university.

  • Degrees in engineering, technical studies advantageous for one of the semiconductor/tech hardware-focused roles. 

• Ambitious multitaskers who thrive under pressure and tight deadlines.

• Strong communicators who can build relationships and influence industry leaders.

  • Fluency in English is required; 

  • Professional fluency in Mandarin is highly preferred for one of the available openings.

• Problem solvers who love breaking down industries and thinking on their feet.

• Driven self-starters who embrace feedback and chase top performance.

• Prior work/internship experience; the level of experience may vary, but what matters is your curiosity, drive and ambition

• Immediate availability is desirable
