Job Description

Seeking a full-time Network Specialist/Network Administrator for an onsite position in Warsaw, IN. The objective of this position is to ensure the stable and secure operation of our corporate LAN/WAN across our data center and 12+ remote sites.

Tasks for this position include (but are not limited to):

  1. Manage and maintain servers and their associated operating systems and software.
  2. Perform system backups and recovery.
  3. Troubleshoot and diagnose connectivity issues.
  4. Manage and maintain all network appliances and network connectivity for all systems.
  5. Maintain networking equipment firmware and software upgrades.
  6. Monitor and test network performance and provide performance statistics and reports.
  7. Recommend, schedule, and perform network improvements, upgrades, and repairs.
  8. Provide 2nd and 3rd level end user technical support.
  9. Remotely work with users to resolve local issues.

Essential Functions

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Qualifications

  • 2 or 4 year College diploma/degree in the field of computer science preferred
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience supporting network infrastructure and security
    • Cisco certifications a plus
  • Extensive working knowledge of infrastructure protocols (DNS, AD, ,DHCP, SMTP, IP, etc.).
  • Previous work experience with VMWare, Hyper-V, and Veeam Backup software.
  • Exceptional knowledge of wired and wireless networks
  • Working experience with Microsoft Server 2019 and Windows 10.
  • Advanced knowledge of security solutions, including firewalls and managed switches.
  • Programming experience with PowerShell a plus.
  • Working experience supporting Microsoft 365 a plus.
  • Deep work experience with Citrix Desktop/ADC a plus.
