  • Monitor production performance, quality and safety while meeting KPIs
  • Hands-on food preparation and operating cooking equipment
  • Ensure finished products are correctly labelled, date-coded and stored in the right location (chiller, freezer or dry store) with correct stock rotation
  • Perform and record quality control checks throughout the day
  • Clean and maintain equipment to a high standard
  • Assist with daily factory operations including operating machinery, lifting meat boxes up to 25kg and packing products
  • Drive the delivery truck to cover deliveries, stock transfers and other operational requirements when needed
  • Operate a forklift to unload and load delivery trucks and move products between the production floor, fridge and freezer
  • Use stock management software to order and monitor stock
  • Use digital time clock software to monitor and schedule staff rosters
  • Use Microsoft Office to plan production requirements and prepare individual worksheets for all staff
  • Report safety, machinery or personnel matters to management promptly
