The Professional Coordinator will follow procedures to ensure the inventory levels necessary to meet projected sales demands. The Professional Coordinator will coordinate and assist various departments with inventory movement and accuracy. 

Compensation - $18 - $22. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

          Blending & Drumming Area: 

  • Determine weekly ingredient needs for Filling Based on Production Tracker 

  • Scheduling and arranging for Ingredients or Raw Materials to deliver to POM Del Rey from offsite locations based on Current Inventory Levels and Production Schedule for Beverage. 

  • Verifying and Scheduling Ingredient Transfers for Blending & Drumming and when Requested by R&D. 

  • Work with Purchasing Department on Ordering Inventory as well as working with Food Safety within the R&D Department on Approvals and Releases of Inventory to meet Production Needs.  

  • Cycle Counting of Ingredients to verify Quantity On hand is accurate after Production Consumption of Ingredients 

  • Complete Inventory Adjustments as needed using Oracle and Telnet 

  • Tracking empty Drum Inventory for reorder if needed for Off – Season & Season. 

  • Perform End of Month counts, reconciliation, and Adjustments onsite and 3PL Warehouses. 

  • Identify Root Cause for all Errors and communicate back to Inventory Control Supervisor. 

  • Pushing Orders thru Oracle for Receipt of Offsite Transfers. 

   Beverage Juice Raw Material & Finished Good Area: 

  • Must have a Forklift Certification and be able to drive a Forklift.  

  • Create and print out cycle counts for Production Counts based on Production Tracker, required weekly counts and End of Month counts. 

  • Transfer information obtained from printouts to saved Excel Files 

  • Review and Reconcile all Raw Material or Finished Goods for Plastics and Filling and identify Root Cause for all Errors and communicate back to Inventory Control Supervisor. 

   Both Areas: 

  • Perform Back- Up Role for Inventory Control Supervisor to include: 

  • Process Reports in Oracle for EDI issues, investigate and correct all issues.  

  • Process Sales Orders and Transfer Orders, then closing those orders  

  • Working with Customer Service to process all Return Authorizations to clear Return Queue in Oracle 

  • File and submit all donation requests to Customer Service as they are requested and in a timely manner. 

  • Keep a running inventory of all PDN product to ensure Inventory accuracy. 

  • Conduct spontaneous audits of all products both finished and raw materials as needed or requested. 

  • Create and update Standard Operating Procedure documents and Process Flows as needed. 

  • Create and provide spontaneous inventory reports as requested internally or externally. 

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS: 

2-3 years of experience in similar role or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position. 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: 

  • Functional knowledge of Oracle R12 and EDI (electronic data interface) structures 

  • Advanced knowledge of PC software applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook. 

  • Detail oriented with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. 

  • Open-minded, collaborative, and team-oriented attitude 

  • Ability to multi-task effectively and motivated to learn.  

  • Must be flexible on daily work schedule. 

  • Self-starter with ability to work independently with minimal supervision.  

ESTIMATED TIME COMMITMENT (BASED ON 8 HOUR DAY) 

Blending & Drumming Area: 

  • 20% - Determining Weekly Needs 

  • 20% - Scheduling and Arranging Delivery of Ingredients 

  • 20% - Verifying and Scheduling Ingredient Transfer for Blending & Drumming 

  • 10% - Preparing & Preforming Cycle Counts. 

  • 30% - End of month Counts, reconcile and Adjustments of inventory for On and Offsite Locations.  

  • Subject to change when performing duties in a Back-Up Capacity. 

Beverage Juice Raw Material& Finished Good Area: 

  • 5% - Preparing Work to Preform Cycle Counts. 

  • 45% - Preforming Cycle Counts and documenting and correcting any Location Discrepancies.  

  • 50% - Data Entry and Reconciliation of Cycle Counts performed,  

  • Subject to change when performing duties in a Back-Up Capacity. 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: 

2-year college degree or equivalent experience.
