This position is based in-office at our Bend, Oregon headquarters.

Job Description

  • Support the Suterra leadership team by assessing and analyzing the list of current HR priorities and strategic goals
  • Scope, define and plan initiatives with measurable outcomes that will deliver against Suterra’s HR priorities
  • Take active personal leadership of individual HR initiatives and drive them to a successful conclusion
  • Build ongoing continuity by ensuring that processes, accountability and metrics are in place for future execution after HR initiatives are complete

Examples of HR priorities and initiatives include:  recruiting, training and development, operational support and administrative systems.    Suterra and the successful candidate will assess the best fit between the company’s needs and the skills and qualifications of the candidate.

Qualifications

The HR Consultant will possess a minimum of 5 years work experience, preferably spanning a variety of HR projects and/or functions.    Exceptions can be made for outstanding candidates with unique skills and experience.    Other qualifications include:

  • Great interpersonal and facilitation skills to interact with cross-functional teams, spanning from top to bottom throughout the Suterra organization
  • Extremely well-organized with a facility of common office management software (Excel, Word, etc.) combined with solid writing and administrative skills
  • Ability to span from tactical to strategic thinking in a sometimes-ambiguous environment
  • Capable of working independently and with minimal supervision
