The parent company is a joint venture between Government of Samoa and Neptune Pacific Line.  We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Team as an Airfreight Officer.

Job Description

The role of the Airfreight Officer is responsible for the processing of incoming/outgoing Airfreight cargo shipments. You will be preparing and processing required documents whilst also completing regular reporting as required. You will support client requests and manager customer relationship including tending to phone calls in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in customer service or shipping would be ideal but not essential – if you are a fast & eager learner!
  • Minimum 7th form/year 13 high school qualification
  • A full valid Driver’s licence is essential
  • High level of honesty, integrity, respect and collaboration
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated commitment to teamwork and partnerships
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent work ethic
  • Pro-active and accepts responsibility
  • Work autonomously with little supervision
  • Must be able to work weekends, public holidays and after hours as required
  • Must be computer literate and proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook programs to an intermediate level
  • Fluent in both English and Samoan
  • Must have a clean police record

Be able to work in a fast paced environment and have the ability to adapt to situations
