JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery has a great hands-on opportunity for you to join the Maintenance Team! The Maintenance Support (Hospitality Handyman) is responsible for assisting with the service and repair of equipment, facilities, guest requests/concerns and work orders as assigned. The support will be focused on our Hospitality Department (Estate, JUSTIN INN Hotel, Restaurant, & Tasting Rooms). This candidate is responsible for performing the job in a safe, efficient manner and performs duties such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, HVAC while addressing immediate operational and/or safety concerns. The Maintenance Support will monitor contractors and ensure tools, equipment and vehicles are maintained in good working order.

A Day in the Life at JUSTIN:

• Performs a wide variety of general and semiskilled maintenance activities/duties (e.g. carpentry, painting, plumbing, basic electrical).
• Installs system component parts, office equipment and facility components (e.g. lighting, heating and ventilating systems, alarms, plumbing, security, electrical panels)
• Responsible for monitoring work order system and completing work orders as assigned
• Completes maintenance and safety duties as assigned
• Maintains assigned vehicle, tools and equipment in safe operating condition
• Monitors contractors to ensure work is completed properly, efficiently and meets JUSTIN’s safety standards
• Responds to emergency maintenance situations as assigned
• Follows all company policies and works in a safe and efficient manner

Your Contribution to JUSTIN:

• Experience in Hotel/Hospitality related field preferred
• Knowledge of servicing HVAC systems such as AC units and heaters
• Skilled in electrical safety and knowledge of basic electrical trouble shooting
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair common hospitality equipment
• Skilled in general maintenance of commercial buildings
• Weekend availability (Saturday & Sunday)
• Must be self-motived and have ability to work effectively as a member of a team
• Must have valid CDL and maintain an acceptable driving record
• Forklift license or ability to achieve licensing
• Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English. Conversational Spanish highly desirable
• COVID vaccination will be required for this position unless candidate has a legally valid exemption
