The Warehouse Group (TWG) consists of three iconic New Zealand retail brands: The Warehouse, Warehouse Stationery and Noel Leeming. We put our customers first and are on the hunt for some go-getters to join our whanau. 

Our Distribution Centre is the heart of business, pumping out stock to our stores and making sure we have the right products, in the right place, at the right time for our customers. Across our peak period, this is more important than ever, so we are expanding our DC whanau across this time to help keep our stores thriving. 

This is a fast-paced role suited to those with a great eye for detail, communication skills that are second to none and the ability to work towards deadlines efficiently. We are looking for reliable, hardworking team players who are happy to get “stuck in” and see a job through from start to finish.  

We have multiple opportunities available at our North Island Distribution Centre based in Wiri for enthusiastic, hard-working, committed people to join our Fulfilment team to pick and pack our customer’s online orders, with roles including Inbound, HighCube and Outbound. 

Inbound: Receive stock deliveries, inspect for accuracy, and efficiently organize items on the shelves for easy access and inventory management within the team. 

HighCube Lift and move stock over 25kg with a partner, ensuring safety and proper handling during the processes.  

Outbound: Pick and pack orders, prepare them for shipping, and ensuring accurate and timely dispatched to meet the customer needs. 

This role is part time fixed term from 28th October 2024- 24th January 2025 

24hours a week across 3 weekdays and 1 weekend day. 

Shift times are either: 2:00pm - 8:30pm OR 4:00pm - 10:30pm 

Pay Rate - $28.40 per hour  
  
Please note - there may be opportunities to increase hours as per business needs.  

Key skills and attributes:  

• Problem solving and time management skills.  

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy  

• Good verbal and written communication skills  

• Ability to use initiative and work independently.  

• Distribution/Warehouse experience is desirable but not essential. 

• Needs to be able to quickly learn on the spot and be available for their shifts.  

• Needs to be able to walk 14-15km a day.  

• Proficient in operating scanners and pallet jacks 

This physically demanding role requires someone with a good degree of strength, that can keep up with our fast-paced environment.
