What will you be doing?

The purpose of our Internal Communications team is to support The Warehouse Group to achieve its business objectives by bringing to life the business strategy and driving team member engagement by helping them feel informed, valued, and connected to the business, both within their own brands and as part of TW Group.

 

The Internal Communications Specialist key responsibility is to keep our people informed and engaged with what's going on in our business by using a range of communication channels (print, video, online, social media) to make sure our 12,000-strong team across the country get regular updates on strategy, progress and performance. The more we can communicate messages they understand and connect with, the better. It's also our role to facilitate opportunities for feedback and conversations across the organisation.

 

This role will also contribute to Internal Communications projects and key initiatives at The Warehouse Group. You will work closely with a variety of stakeholders within the business including our Brand CEOs and senior leaders across all of the Support Office functions to ensure that the business is provided with clear and accurate communications around our strategy.

Creating communications that inspire and engage the business requires an insightful, innovative and proactive individual. You will bring your creative flair to the role through your confidence in writing and delivering engaging quality content.

 

We believe to really succeed in this role, you will have proven internal communications experience gained within a large and complex organisation. Working across all levels of the business, you'll be confident in building relationships and collaborating with your stakeholders while at the same time having the confidence to challenge opinions and the status quo when needed.

 

It goes without saying that you will be highly organised and have a positive and proactive approach to working in a team environment. You will be extremely confident in working with all types of technology delivery channels including social media and experience with video production and editing tools would be a bonus.
