We have an excellent opportunity available for a motivated individual to step into a dynamic and varied role within the University of Auckland, Civil Engineering Laboratories. In this position, no two days are the same, offering you a wide range of experiences and the chance to work across various aspects of the construction within the Civil Engineering Domain.

Must be physically fit, hardworking, and ready to hit the ground running. Great opportunity to join a solid team and gain valuable experience on site. Immediate start available!

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with general labour tasks on various construction projects
  • Assist with the loading, unloading and movement of materials and equipment on site
  • Operate a range of plant and machinery to support construction activities
  • Organise your tasks to manage productivity effectively
  • Collaborate with the wider team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Identify hazards and set up safe worksites following safety practices

This is a full-time, fixed-term for 12 months, 37.5 hours per week role. The salary range for this role is $72,000 - $77,100 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
