Job Description

Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity

The University is seeking to employ casual staff members to meet short-term staffing needs. Hours will be changeable as agreed with the line manager of the role.

Assessment Services is fast approaching one of our busiest times of the year, with semester two exams just around the corner.  We seek to employ enthusiastic and results-driven casual staff members to support the delivery of semester two exams.  Working within a small team, you will be assisting across a number of administrative areas before and during semester two exams.

You will need to be confident using online systems, interacting with students and staff and be flexible to switch between tasks across the day.  You must be keen to learn in a fast-paced environment, be able to pick up new information promptly and remain calm under pressure. There is some walking and lifting involved, so we would require staff who are comfortable doing these tasks.

You must be able to work mornings and afternoons for the entirety of the exam period; 28th of October to 17th of November, and be available for training and orientation the week prior.

These are casual roles. The remuneration is $27.90 per hour.
