Mō tō mātou rōpū | About the team

The Student Hubs team is the physical gateway to the Waipapa Taumata Rau | University of Auckland. We provide a welcoming, friendly, and mana-enhancing service for future and current students across their student journey.

We deliver a wide range of services to support student on their journey at Waipapa Taumata Rau | University of Auckland. Our primary function is to deliver high quality in-person and online services that support students holistically. Our services include: 

  • Guidance and advice on being a student. 
  • Navigating the University systems, spaces and processes. 
  • Exploring study options. 
  • Application and enrolment support. 
  • Library & Student IT services. 

Our Hub Advisers provide advisory services primarily through 1:1 consultations for more complex enquiries, guiding students through their journey and connecting them in with appropriate University resources.

We are looking for highly motivated individuals to join our team of Hub Advisers who:

Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity 

City Campus Student Hub, hours of work:

9 AM – 5 PM, Monday-Friday

This is a full-time, 37.5 hours per week, fixed-term role. The contract period will be from Monday, 4th August 2025, until Friday, 29th May 2026.

The salary range for this role is $62,400 - $68,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
