Our International Office is seeking a future-focused Senior Regional Manager to help shape our international student recruitment portfolio. This role offers the opportunity to lead a high-performing team and contribute directly to the University's internationalisation goals in a fast-evolving global education landscape.

Reporting to the International Future Students Lead, you will be responsible for supporting the development, and owning the execution, of international student recruitment strategies across designated markets. You will lead a team of Regional Managers and offshore Regional Relationship Managers, while managing key internal and external partnerships. Leveraging your expertise in data, digital tools, and cross-functional collaboration, you will drive performance outcomes and enhance the prospective student journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, inspire and manage a high-performing team across designated regions to meet international student recruitment targets and goals. 
  • Develop and implement long-term regional recruitment plans and annual operational strategies backed by data insights and market intelligence. 
  • Harness technology and digital tools to streamline recruitment operations, optimise agent engagement, and improve conversion.
  • Drive performance in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, using KPIs and ROI metrics to measure success.
  • Foster strategic partnerships with faculties, agents and pathway providers to drive growth and strengthen market presence.

This is a full-time (37.5 hours/ week) permanent position, with a salary range of $118,000 - $125,000 per annum dependent on skills and experience.

  • Highly skilled in data-informed decision-making, with hands-on experience using CRM systems, dashboards, and digital tools to optimise performance and conversion.
  • An exceptional communicator and relationship builder, confident in managing diverse stakeholders across cultures and organisational levels.
  • Experienced in performance reporting and cross-functional collaboration to drive recruitment outcomes.
  • Strong organisational skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to balance broader visions with operational execution.
  • Knowledge of international education systems, agent networks, and global recruitment channels is preferred.
  • Familiarity with key source markets such as Greater China, Southeast Asia, or Oceania is advantageous.
