Job Description

We are seeking a Change Manager who is passionate about lean change practices and thrives in a diverse and ‘greenfield’ role. As the Change Manager and part of the leadership team on our first Agile Release Train (ART), you will play a pivotal role in new ways of working to deliver value to our customers in a way that is rewarding for our people. This is a key role in the ART leadership team and you will need to work with Release Train Engineers, ART Coach, System Architect, Product Managers and Business Owners as well as the Product Owners and Advisers.
You must have demonstrated experience in launching or working with agile release trains using the Scaled Agile Framework with combined experience in developing the change approach, working across epics and advising across teams.
Please note, this will be a 12 month fixed term, full time (37.5 hours/ week) position, with an immediate start.

As this is a fixed term appointment, you will need to have experience working within a change management environment and have sound and demonstrated knowledge of Change Management methodologies.
Having worked with senior stakeholders in a corporate, university, or large organisation, your communication skills will be required to influence and manage effectively at all levels of the business.

- Experience managing initiatives in a complex environment
- Training and experience in a recognised Change Management discipline
- Proven ability to analyse and mitigate complex business issues
- Ability to act as an effective advisor to experienced managers

The Change Management Practice was established over a decade ago within the Organisation Performance and Improvement (OPI) service division and is part of Strategic Programmes (SPO). We have matured and grown considerably over time and have built a reputation for the strength of our service offering.
We have delivered this through a team of experienced and credible practitioners providing quality change-management support and advice across the University. The breadth of experience within the team spans across facilitation, engagement, and the ability to coach and mentor others for good change outcomes.
