The School of Computer Science at the University of Auckland is currently looking for two early-career academics to join our diverse and internationally renowned school as a Lecturer in Theoretical Computer Science. If you are passionate about research and teaching, want to build lasting collaborations, and value diversity, we encourage you to apply.

We are seeking two top candidates working in any subfield of Theoretical Computer Science with a preference for any of the following areas: algorithms and data structures, probabilistic computation, quantum information theory, computational biology, as well as computational complexity and algorithmic information theory.  We expect the successful candidate to collaborate with members of the theory group and contribute to the continuously growing success of this area. Such contributions include world-class research, high-calibre teaching of large undergraduate courses and smaller postgraduate courses, as well as the supervision of dissertations at the Honour’s, Master’s and PhD levels.

This is a permanent, fulltime (40 hours/Week) role
Remuneration:  L1 - L7, $86,979 - $103,904
