About the role
Applications are invited for a Lecturer in the School of Cultures, Languages and Linguistics.
You will be expected to teach and coordinate undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Asian Studies, Language Teaching, Academic English and other transdisciplinary areas in the School.
You will develop short courses in Academic and Professional English as required by the School and Faculty; teach and/or maintain oversight of teaching for short courses. • Supervise the research activities of graduate and undergraduate students
You will have a PhD in an Asian or European Language or Area studies or a related transdisciplinary area with a proven track record of research and teaching at the university level in language teaching and/or cultural literary studies. Experience in teaching and coordinating undergraduate courses is required and as is coordinating work with tutors.

Someone with an established record of research and publications in the field, that has the ability to undertake teaching both in class and online teaching that includes blended learning.
Must have experience coordinating and teaching at university level in a multicultural environment.
