About the role

The School of Chemical Sciences at the University of Auckland, New Zealand invites applications for two Lecturer/ Senior Lecturer positions in chemistry as part of a larger strategic growth initiative. 

The successful candidates will have research interests within the broad area encompassing physical, theoretical, and computational chemistry through to analytical chemistry, chemometrics, and chemical data science, and will be expected to contribute to the delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate courses within these general areas. The candidates’ duties may also include teaching other courses for the School, including overseas as part of an agreement with a Chinese university partner.

Our ideal candidate

The ideal candidates will have a PhD in chemistry or a closely related field. The candidates are expected to have a strong track record of research relative to opportunity in one of the fields noted above.
