Job Description

The School of Computer Science at the University of Auckland is currently looking for an early career academic to join our diverse and internationally renowned school as a Lecturer in Cyber Security. Our school values diversity, passion about teaching, and research.

Skills and experience

We are seeking top candidates from subfields of Cyber Security, with a preference for candidates with strengths in any of the following areas: system security, cryptography, blockchain, IoT security, adversarial machine learning, and AI/ML applied to cyber security. Research collaborations with industry or industrial experience would be a significant advantage.

To be successful, you should have a PhD, have demonstrated excellence in research and a commitment to high-quality research-informed teaching of both undergraduate and graduate students.
