Job Description
Are you starting your marketing career? Have you recently graduated with a degree in marketing? Or perhaps you have some experience and are now looking for a broad and varied marketing role in an exciting environment which will develop your skills?
We’re looking for a Marketing Assistant to support the team at The Victoria Casino to coordinate various marketing activities and campaigns, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders as well as the Grosvenor Marketing team to achieve marketing goals and maintain the brand standards of the casino.
You will:
- Support the marketing team in planning, executing, and tracking marketing campaigns for The Victoria Casino across various channels, including digital, social media, email, and print.
- Assist in coordinating marketing activities tailored to The Victoria Casino, such as gaming promotions, special events and entertainment shows.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and agencies to ensure seamless execution of casino marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Maintain project timelines, monitor progress, and provide regular updates to stakeholders, ensuring campaigns align with the casino's brand identity and target audience.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis specific to the casino industry
- Assist in creating compelling and engaging content for marketing materials that address in-club collateral, the Vic.com, social media posts, and press releases.
- Assist in managing digital marketing channels, including the Vic.com, social media platforms, CRM marketing, and website content updates.
- Assist in analysing website and social media analytics to track the performance of campaigns
- Provide general administrative support, assist in maintaining databases, customer lists, and mailing lists
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in events and marketing.
Qualifications
- Marketing Graduate or previous experience in a marketing or related role, preferably in the casino or hospitality industry,
- Strong organization and time management to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creative thinking and the ability to contribute ideas to casino marketing campaigns and initiatives
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms specific to the casino industry.
- Basic understanding of marketing principles, trends, and best practices in the casino industry.
- Knowledge of social media platforms, digital analytics, and content management systems
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering work tailored to the target audience.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced casino environment.
