Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Identity Architect to serve as our CyberArk Subject Matter Expert and technology owner for Privileged Access Management (PAM). In this role, you will be responsible for setting strategy, architecting secure frameworks, and owning our PAM environment—focusing on system design, integrations, and operational excellence rather than hands-on code development. You will collaborate daily with cross-functional technical teams and business stakeholders to solve complex security challenges, drive project enhancements, and protect critical assets.
Key Responsibilities
PAM Ownership & Expertise: Serve as the internal Subject Matter Expert for CyberArk, driving the design, health, and ongoing enhancement of our Privileged Access Management infrastructure.
System Integration: Lead integrations between CyberArk, enterprise platforms, and third-party tools to secure privileged accounts across the ecosystem.
Architecture & Enhancement: Identify system errors, mitigate risks, and design resilient IAM/PAM architectures that go beyond standard fixes.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner daily with non-technical stakeholders and engineering teams to communicate high-level technical concepts, anticipate objections, and build consensus for security initiatives.
Project Delivery: Lead technical projects with moderate complexity, ensuring seamless execution, timely troubleshooting, and alignment with department goals.
Qualifications
- CyberArk Mastery: Extensive, hands-on architectural experience with CyberArk protocols, tools, and enterprise deployments.
- IAM Architecture: Deep background in Identity and Access Management frameworks, standards, and security best practices.
- Scripting Skills: Proficiency in PowerShell and/or Python for automation, system maintenance, and diagnostics.
- Communication & Influence: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical jargon into clear, actionable business decisions for non-technical audiences.
- Ownership Mindset: Proven track record as a technology owner managing platforms, workflows, and integrations (this is an architect/owner role, not a developer position).
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Hands-on experience with Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with SaaS integrations.
- Familiarity with Okta and Okta PAM.
