Job Description
The Senior Customer Intelligence Analyst is a critical role within the Global Nielsen Campaign Analytics team, focused on driving market impact through actionable recommendations.
As the primary point of contact, you will work directly with media clients and advertisers to design and execute studies that measure advertising effectiveness (across digital, streaming, and social media) using a high level of quality assurance. You are expected to independently support clients from the initial study design through execution and final presentation, ensuring that all analysis is delivered with insightful, data-driven conclusions.
Key Responsibilities
Relationship Management: Build trust-based relationships with clients, Sales, Research, and Operations, acting as a key partner to grow the business through Campaign Analytics (CA) solutions.
Business Objectives: Translate broad business needs into specific, measurable research questions that can be solved by Nielsen solutions.
Research & Analysis: Independently design, execute, and present detailed research analyses, primarily focused on test vs. control methodology to determine the lift driven by measured campaigns.
Client Delivery: Use in-depth Product knowledge to independently support clients in designing and executing studies. Analytically consult with clients on the results, ensuring insights and action-oriented solutions are delivered.
Quality Assurance: Perform rigorous QA checks on test setup, data quality, and presentation materials to ensure best practices are strictly followed.
Collaboration & Problem Solving: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate issues, find the root cause, and proactively resolve them with appropriate parties.
Project Management: Maintain accurate records of study timelines, milestones, and presentation dates, keeping all relevant internal and external stakeholders updated.
Qualifications
- 3 - 5 years experience in analytics and/or media or marketing planning.
- Bachelor’s Degree, Masters Degree is a plus.
- Excellent critical thinking ability and a desire to seek solutions for novel situations. Stats background is a strong plus.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills; ability to grasp new concepts easily and present them simply.
- Advanced level of English (written and verbal) is required.
- Technical proficiency in Office/Google Suite of software solutions.
- A self-motivated, curious learner with the ability to work collaboratively, manage multiple projects at once, and quickly adapt to new challenges.
- Strong Plus: Media and advertising industry knowledge, past experience in digital media buying/planning and marketing analytics, and experience with Syndicated data sets (Nielsen IQ and/or IRI).
