Job Summary

The eMedia Team leader is responsible for ensuring all delivery and quality KPIs and SLAs for television, radio, outdoor and cinema. As a people manager, they are accountable for all members of the eMedia team, ensuring they are tracking against their individual KPI and performance objectives, providing them with the training and support they need to perform at their best, and develop their career within Nielsen. 

The team leader is required to be based in Bengaluru and work a night shift, 12am-9am IST. This is a hybrid role and requires working in the office for a minimum of three days per week.

With a responsibility to ensure all systems are working correctly with no downtime, the team leader may be required to work outside their designated work hours, including weekends, to manage risks to delivery and technical failures.

Key Job Responsibilities


Workload Management and Prioritisation

Ensuring all daily, weekly and monthly delivery deadlines are met for the following media:

  • Television - Mediapad and log based
  • Radio - creative and metropolitan
  • Outdoor - creative and log based
  • Creative Outdoor
  • Cinema
  • STV
  • Campaigns 
  • Maintaining all aspects of Nielsen’s internal database related to the above media
  • Ensuring the quality of all work produced by the eMedia team meets Nielsen standards
  • Maintaining paperwork and manuals on processes and coding rules for all eMedia products
  • SME for Mediapad, monitoring Zabbix alerts and actioning recovery plan in the case of TV signal or other outages including any outages that happen outside of normal business hours.
  • Liaising with multiple internal teams including TAM, IT, MediaPad Support, References Media Support and App Dev to ensure the smooth running of all services
  • Producing regular reports on KPIs and quality within the eMedia team
  • Managing monthly roster allocation.
