Overview
A high-performing, 336-bed hospital with a Level II Trauma Center in Fort Walton Beach is seeking an experienced ICU Nurse Manager to oversee daily operations, staffing, quality, and patient-centered care within a 42-bed critical care division. This role supports a diverse patient population including cardiovascular, neuro, surgical, trauma, and respiratory cases.

Job Summary
The ICU Manager provides leadership for daily clinical and operational functions of the unit, ensuring high-quality, safe, and efficient patient care. This role supports staff development, drives performance improvement, manages resources, and fosters a culture of teamwork and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily operations and staffing to ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Partner with clinical teams to implement evidence-based practices and optimize patient care.
Manage admissions, discharges, and patient flow for efficient throughput.
Support team engagement through coaching, mentoring, and performance development.
Monitor budgets, manage resources, and identify opportunities for operational efficiency.
Promote a positive patient experience through consistent leadership visibility and support.
Qualifications
Required:
3+ years of recent acute care leadership experience in Critical Care (Charge RN, Supervisor, or Manager; relief charge not accepted).
Associate Degree in Nursing.
Active Florida RN license (or Compact).
BLS and ACLS required upon hire.
