Job Description
Overview
Join a collaborative Intensive Care Unit providing high-acuity, evidence-based care for critically ill patients. This 16-bed unit offers 1:1–1:2 nurse-to-patient ratios and a supportive environment for experienced ICU nurses to grow their clinical expertise while making a lasting difference in patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
Deliver advanced critical care to patients requiring continuous monitoring and intervention.
Perform comprehensive assessments, interpret data, and manage care for complex conditions.
Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to emergencies or changes in patient status.
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
Educate patients and families about procedures, medications, and post-discharge care.
Maintain compliance with safety standards, protocols, and documentation requirements.
Qualifications
Required:
Active RN license (Florida or Compact)
Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience in an acute care setting
ADN or Nursing Diploma
Preferred:
BSN degree
NIH Stroke Scale within 30 days of hire
BLS within 30 days; ACLS and PALS within 6 months
