Salary Range: $34.24 – $45.75/hour
Schedule: Full-Time | 7AM – 7PM | Rotating Weekends
Sign-On Bonus: $15,000
Relocation Assistance: $5,000 (if >50 miles from site)

A fast-paced Emergency Department in the Hermitage, TN area is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to lead day-shift operations. This is a high-growth opportunity for an experienced ED RN with charge nurse experience ready to step into a leadership track role.

Job Description

  • Provide direct oversight and coordination of daily shift functions for the ER

  • Lead a team of nurses, techs, and support staff across a 22-bed Level III Trauma ED

  • Monitor patient care quality, ensure documentation accuracy, and uphold safety protocols

  • Coordinate plan-of-care decisions with the broader interdisciplinary team

  • Mentor and coach staff while upholding departmental standards and throughput goals

  • Serve as a resource and escalation point for clinical decision-making and family interaction

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, audits, and departmental meetings

Qualifications

  • Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state

  • Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN strongly preferred

  • 2–3 years of Emergency Room nursing experience (mandatory for day shift)

  • Prior charge nurse or leadership experience required

  • Current BLS from the American Heart Association

  • ACLS and PALS (or obtained within 12 months of hire)

  • CPI required within 6 months of hire

Preferred:

  • Prior trauma center experience

  • Familiarity with MediTech (not required, training provided)

Unit Information:

  • Level III Trauma Center

  • 22-bed ER

  • Up to 166 patients per day
