PCU Clinical Nurse Coordinator – Nights (7P–7A) – Hermitage, TN Area
Base Pay: $34.24 – $45.75/hour (depending on experience)
Shift Differential: +$3.75/hour (Nights) | +$6.00/hour (Weekends)
Sign-On Bonus: $20,000
Relocation Assistance: $5,000 (if 50+ miles from the facility)

An established acute care hospital in the Hermitage, TN area is hiring a Clinical Nurse Coordinator for its Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This is a full-time night shift position with rotating weekends (2 per month, Friday–Sunday).

Key Highlights:

• Clinical leadership role with mentorship, precepting, and staff coordination duties

• Unit specializes in Neuro, Pulmonary, and COVID-related care

• 34-bed PCU with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5

Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care on a telemetry-focused PCU

• Supervise and support staff performance across shifts

• Assist with admissions, discharges, and patient care planning

• Ensure regulatory and safety compliance in patient care delivery

• Mentor and coach team members for clinical excellence

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes

• Aid in staff scheduling and resource planning

Unit Specialties Include:

• Chest pain, hypertensive urgency, stroke, sepsis

• CVA, TIA, AMS, peritoneal dialysis, BiPAP support

• Drips: Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Lasix, Protonix

• Active RN license (Tennessee or Compact)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required

• Current BLS (or obtain within 30 days of start)

• ACLS and NIHSS Stroke Certification within 30 days of hire

• Previous Charge Nurse or Clinical Coordinator experience is required
