Job Description

With a well-established presence in Australia, HITACHI is undergoing significant growth, and Temperzone is seeking an exceptional individual to join this exciting opportunity. Our difference lies in the customer experience, and this role is pivotal in driving this culture across our commercial and residential partners in New South Wales.

HITACHI and Temperzone offer a unique approach to our network of specialist partners by promoting brand equity.

Reporting to the State Manager, this role encompasses our brand offerings of Temperzone and Hitachi to the NSW market, dealing with trade, contractor, consultant, and commercial builder markets.

Identifying new business opportunities and maintaining a commercial and domestic builder network are key aspects of the role, ensuring no two days are the same.

What we are looking for:

  • Account management and product sales training through key market channels in NSW, ACT, and regional NSW.
  • Maintaining, developing, and growing existing B2B/B2C customers in residential, commercial, wholesale, and building sectors.
  • Identifying new market and growth opportunities using internal data such as BCI and other industry intel.
  • Acting as the internal and external champion for Hitachi products.
  • Establishing and nurturing relationships with new and existing specialist partners.
  • Implementing and delivering sales plans.
  • Coordinating marketing strategies tailored for individual accounts.
  • Analyzing existing and potential partner needs.
  • Presenting, promoting, and selling products to existing and prospective partners.
  • Achieving sales targets and budgets.
  • Providing high levels of customer service across all functions.
  • Keeping abreast of industry trends and opposition activity and communicating back to the business.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years experience working with established brands or projects
  • Proven sales history in HVAC or associated industry
  • Demonstrable proof of strategic account & territory management
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
  • A good knowledge of current technology trends & the Australian competitive landscape
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Sales process or management qualifications
  • A trade qualification in Refrigeration / Air Conditioning or Electrical
  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background is advantageous
