Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (F&SCM) Technical Architect to join on a 4-month contract. This role will lead the technical design and architecture across a D365 F&SCM implementation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions aligned with business requirements and Microsoft best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical architecture design for Dynamics 365 F&SCM solutions
• Define and govern solution architecture, integrations, and data flows
• Provide hands-on guidance across X++, integrations, and extensions
• Design and oversee customisations, ISVs, and third-party integrations
• Ensure adherence to Microsoft best practices and coding standards
• Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Drive performance optimisation, scalability, and security across the platform
• Support DevOps processes, including CI/CD pipelines and release management
• Conduct code reviews and technical governance
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide resolutions
• Engage with stakeholders and provide architectural leadership across the project lifecycle

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Technical Architect in Dynamics 365 F&SCM / AX
• Strong expertise in:
  • X++ development
  • D365 F&O architecture
  • Data management framework (DMF)
  • Integration patterns (OData, APIs, Logic Apps, Azure Services)
• Solid experience with:
  • Azure (Functions, Service Bus, DevOps)
  • Power Platform integrations
  • Ability to lead teams
