Job Description

Reporting to the Sales Director for Business Applications the Pre Sales Lead for Business Applications will focus on managing and leading the Pre Sales function and developing the Biz Apps business for Telefónica Tech UK&I.

Role Purpose

The Pre-Sales Lead role works closely with the Sales Director, Sales Leads and CTO function to help establish and embed the Pre-Sales strategy of the Enterprise Apps Commercial function. This role reports directly to the Sales Director, and manages a team of Pre-Sales individuals, aswell as some sales support functions. This role will carry responsibilities associated to performing as a Principle Pre-Sales consultant aswell as the management of the function. This role will play an incredibly important role to ensure Pre-Sales alignment to key, qualified opportunities within practice GTM verticals and will mentor and support the growth of the Pre-Sales individuals within the team. It is imperative that this individual has high credibility with Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform, but critically, can also build a long term high performing Pre-Sales function.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Enterprise Apps CoE Pre-Sales team
  • Active working relationship with sales leads to qualify new opportunities, align to GTM strategies and to support Marketing activities
  • Work with the CTO function to embed best practice technical approaches as well as maintaining a good level of technical understanding of the product individually and for the team
  • Support Sales Director to establish and embed CoE wide processes around Pre-Sales engagements and responsibilities in sales engagement cycle
  • Support Sales Director to establish and embed CoE wide processes around Bid Management support and how this can be utilised by the Sales teams
  • Work with prospects and existing customers to understand their strategic goals, priorities and business requirements
  • Create and lead solution demonstrations to prospects and customers
  • Contribute to RFIs, RFPs and ITTs to produce high-quality sales proposals
  • Enable the commercial team to better understand the Microsoft product set and its application in varying scenarios
  • Support go-to-market activities such as developing packaged offerings, whitepapers, product videos and industry-specific solutions
  • Participate in company marketing activities such as webinars, forums and user groups
  • Build relationships with key technical and sales contacts within Microsoft and Incremental’s partner community.

  • Extensive experience of pre-sales for enterprise clients and working with senior stakeholders
