📌 Job Description – Senior Python Developer

Position Summary

As a Python Developer, you will contribute to the development and customization of digital applications supporting operational and manufacturing processes. You will build backend features, integrate data sources, and collaborate with business teams to deliver scalable solutions using Python, JavaScript, and low-code/no-code tooling such as Tulip. Your work will help drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency within an agile environment.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Develop backend logic and integrations leveraging Python (APIs, data processing, automation).
• Customize application logic and UI behavior using JavaScript when required.
• Build and maintain applications using a low-code/no-code platform (Tulip preferred).
• Integrate solutions with databases, REST APIs, and enterprise systems (MES/ERP/QMS/IoT).
• Translate business and operational requirements into functional implementations.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform testing, and support deployments.
• Document technical specifications, application flows, and integration details.
• Participate in coordination meetings and workshops with client stakeholders.
• Follow development best practices (security, performance, code quality).
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing.

🛠️ Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Strong experience with Python development (scripting, REST APIs, data manipulation)
• Working knowledge of JavaScript (front-end logic, UI triggers, event handling)
• Exposure to low-code/no-code platforms (Tulip highly valued; PowerApps, Mendix, OutSystems, etc. accepted)
• Understanding of relational databases and data modeling (SQL)
• Experience integrating applications using REST, JSON, OAuth, or similar mechanisms
• Familiarity with industrial or manufacturing environments is a plus
• Comfortable working within agile and iterative development cycles

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset
• Ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders
• Autonomy, initiative, and attention to detail
• Structured communication and documentation
• Adaptability in fast-paced environments
• English and French are required
