Job Description
About the role
We are looking for Potato Piler Operators, to join the Field team at our Ashburton plant. The season is from Mid-March to Mid- May 2025.
We operate on a 6-on, 1-off pattern, with 12-hour shifts and will be working Day or Night if agreed. Remuneration will be based on experience and shift agreed to be worked.
As a Piler Operator, you will be responsible for:
- Unloading and grading potatoes that are harvested on local farms throughout Canterbury into our storage sheds.
Qualifications
For this role, you’ll need:
- Be pro-active and motivated,
- Be a team player,
- F- endorsement preferred,
- To be physically fit for potentially 12-hour shifts.
- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and practices,
- Preferred experience in operating a Spudnik 560/780 – Large frame piler.
