Job Description

We are looking for a Big Data Developer to join a dynamic data team and contribute to the development, maintenance, and optimization of data processing solutions within the Client Contribution platform.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in Big Data, Spark, SQL, and data transformation, combined with hands-on experience in a modern Big Data environment such as Azure Databricks, Amazon EMR, Hive, or Cloudera. You will work closely with both technical and functional stakeholders in an Agile environment, contributing to the continuous improvement of data solutions and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, maintain, and optimize ETL and data transformation processes.
  • Develop and maintain Apache Spark-based data pipelines.
  • Contribute to data integration initiatives across the platform.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve data-related issues.
  • Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across data processing solutions.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into effective data solutions.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute proactively to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Follow DevOps and Continuous Integration practices throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Contribute to reporting and analytics solutions using Qlik Sense.

Qualifications

Mandatory Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience in data development and programming.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, including ANSI SQL, Hive SQL, Spark SQL, or equivalent.
  • Good knowledge of Apache Spark and hands-on experience with at least one programming language:
    • Scala
    • Python
    • Java
  • Experience with at least one Big Data environment:
    • Azure Databricks
    • Amazon EMR
    • Hive
    • Cloudera
    • or a similar Spark-based environment.
  • Experience with Qlik Sense and reporting solutions.
  • Experience working in Agile, Continuous Integration, and DevOps environments.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Git, GitHub, Sonar, and Nexus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to understand and analyze requirements and collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • English level: B2+ or higher.
