Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated intern to join our dynamic team in New York.

Duration: March-August 2024
Paid internship: $20/hour
Candidates must be authorized to work in the USA.

As a Recruiter Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting the US talent acquisition function for our IT consulting firm within the investment banking industry. This 6-month internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in recruiting for IT roles within the financial sector. You will collaborate with the Sales and North America Talent Acquisition team, engaging in the end-to-end recruitment process.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Sourcing and Evaluation:

  • Use various platforms (ATS, Linkedin Recruiters…) to identify and attract potential candidates for IT consulting roles in investment banking
  • Assess candidate qualifications, technical skills, and alignment with position requirements

Interview Coordination:

  • Schedule and coordinate technical interviews between candidates and hiring managers
  • Facilitate virtual interviews, ensuring a positive candidate experience

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely with hiring managers and technical teams to understand IT role requirements and ensure alignment with client needs
  • Assist in crafting detailed job descriptions and technical profiles

Candidate Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain relationships with IT candidates to create a robust talent pipeline.
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to candidates throughout the recruitment process.

Data Management:

  • Maintain accurate and organized records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Generate recruitment-related reports for analysis and decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Strong interest in IT recruitment and talent acquisition, particularly within the investment banking sector
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical
  • Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Familiarity with IT roles, technologies, and recruitment tools is a plus
