WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Security Architect to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the security and resilience of our Gluon platform and applications. As a Cloud Security Architect, you will be responsible for defining and implementing security strategies, policies, and practices to safeguard our cloud-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Gluon Platform Security: Define and maintain the security architecture for the Gluon platform, ensuring that it aligns with industry best practices and compliance standards.

2. Application Security Support: Collaborate with development teams to support the deployment of applications on the Gluon platform, ensuring that security requirements are met throughout the development lifecycle.

3. Security Assessments: Conduct security assessments and risk analyses of cloud-based applications and infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies.

4. Security Policies and Procedures: Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards for the Gluon platform and applications, including access control, encryption, and identity management.

5. Incident Response: Establish and maintain incident response plans and procedures, ensuring the rapid and effective response to security incidents and breaches.

6. Security Training and Awareness: Provide training and guidance to development and operations teams to enhance their understanding of cloud security best practices.

7. Compliance: Ensure that the Gluon platform and associated applications comply with relevant regulatory and compliance requirements, such as GDPR, HIPAA, or industry-specific standards.

8. Security Monitoring: Implement and maintain security monitoring and alerting systems to detect and respond to security threats and anomalies.

9. Security Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of security configurations, procedures, and incident response plans.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• +3 years of experience in related roles.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Security Architect or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of cloud security concepts and technologies, particularly related to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS.
• Excellent knowledge of security best practices for cloud-native applications and microservices.
• Experience with security assessment tools and vulnerability scanning.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant certifications, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), are a plus.
