Company Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will provide facilities and maintenance support to our
chiropractic clinics. You will make a difference to our patients every day by ensuring a safe and
comfortable environment. Every day is a new challenge that will require you to solve problems and use
your technical skills to repair, replace, and renew our working spaces. Occasional need for overtime in
emergency/ critical repair situations.

Job Description

  • Perform skilled carpentry work in the construction, maintenance, repair, remodeling, and alteration of our clinics to complete work orders. Work varies daily across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and grounds keeping.
  • Interact professionally and respectfully with doctors, staff, vendors, patients, and our team.
  • Use critical thinking skills to diagnose and resolve problems and potential safety hazards
  • Prioritize requests to ensure timely and professional completion; record repairs and work in the ticketing system with detailed notes for future reference
  • Comply with federal regulations governing safety, environmental protection, hazardous waste disposal, and the use of chemical substances and materials common in construction
  • Responsible to follow all laws and rules of the road when behind the wheel of your work van and treat it with respect (cleanliness, limit use outside of work hours, etc.)
  • Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and perform routine inspections on clinic equipment and facilities to identify potential issues before they become critical problems
  • Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and materials; communicate needs to supervisors to ensure adequate stock for daily operations
  • Perform other related duties and assist with project completion as needed
  • Day-to-day you will need to:
    • Manage the use of small hand and power tools with proper safety protocols
    • Facilitate repairs on our Chiropractic equipment including precision measuring and testing devices, mechanical equipment, x-ray machines, and adjustment tables

    • Use your computer and phone skills to track work orders and interact with our work order system (Fresh Service)

    • Support your teammates to complete large projects and be willing to help others when ticket volume escalates
    • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and coordinate with clinic staff to minimize disruption to patient care

Qualifications

  • A high school education or equivalent is required
  • Three years successful experience in maintenance or the trades preferred
  • Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and availability to travel to clinics in a company
    provided vehicle
  • Good communication/interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency in resolving work orders
  • Preferred: Completion of a maintenance carpentry vocational/technical school or a recognized apprenticeship program in maintenance carpentry
  • Preferred: Moderate carpentry, electrical, and plumbing experience
