Job Description

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Manage end-to-end contract lifecycle, bidding processes, and negotiations for service and drilling-related agreements, including direct contracting for complex well development packages.
  • Source, procure, and manage MRO materials for WHP operations; oversee supplier/vendor performance evaluation and relationship management.
  • Conduct commercial evaluations, price comparisons, and negotiate terms and conditions with vendors to ensure cost-effective procurement.
  • Utilize SAP, Excel, and procurement systems for order processing, inventory management, reporting, and data analysis.
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, and finance teams to align procurement activities with project objectives and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and legal/regulatory requirements in all contracting and procurement activities.
  • Assess and recommend appropriate contracting strategies and bidding methods for different service packages.

Qualifications

**Required Qualifications:**

  • 3–10 years of relevant experience in contracting and procurement, preferably in the oil and gas or drilling industry.
  • Proven expertise in contract management, bidding processes, and vendor relations.
  • Demonstrated track record in delivery management and on-time project completion.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Excel for order processing, inventory management, and data analysis.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure cost-effective terms and conditions with vendors.
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements, industry standards, and regulatory frameworks relevant to contracting and procurement.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Experience managing MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) materials procurement.
  • Familiarity with well development packages and drilling-related service agreements.
  • Certification in procurement, supply chain management, or contract management (APICS, NCMA, or equivalent).
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including operations, engineering, and finance departments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare clear reports and documentation.
  • Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
