Are you passionate about sustainability and eager to turn data into meaningful insights? As a Sustainability Intern, you’ll play an active role in shaping TOPdesk’s environmental impact, especially when it comes to greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. You’ll work with data, collaborate across teams, and contribute directly to decision-making at the highest level.

Job Description

What you’ll do

In this role, you’ll support and improve TOPdesk’s sustainability efforts, with a strong focus on GHG emissions. Your days will be a mix of analysis, collaboration, and problem-solving.

You will:

  • Collect, structure, and analyse emissions data across departments
  • Improve how sustainability metrics are tracked and documented
  • Collaborate with teams like Finance, Operations, and Strategy to ensure data accuracy
  • Translate data into clear insights and recommendations
  • Support stakeholder communication, including towards senior leadership
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in sustainability processes

During onboarding, you’ll get to know TOPdesk, our sustainability goals, and the tools we use. You’ll be guided by experienced colleagues while also having the freedom to take initiative.

There’s plenty of room to grow, whether that’s deepening your analytical skills, exploring sustainability strategy, or taking ownership of your own projects.

Where you’ll work

You’ll be based in our Delft office, working in a collaborative and informal environment. You’ll join a cross-functional setup and work closely with colleagues from different departments.

Qualifications

Are you our new Sustainability Intern?

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with data and is eager to learn.

You:

  • Are currently pursuing a WO degree (e.g. Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, Data or similar)
  • Have a strong interest in sustainability and GHG emissions
  • Are comfortable working with data (e.g. Excel)
  • Are analytical and detail-oriented
  • Can structure information and improve processes
  • Take initiative and work proactively
  • Have strong communication skills (English required)
  • Enjoy collaborating with different stakeholders
  • Are curious and eager to learn
  • Have experience with data analysis tools (nice-to-have)
  • Have affinity with corporate sustainability reporting (nice-to-have)
  • Are available 32–40 hours per week
