Job Description

We are looking for a Developer Experience (DevEx) Lead who will play a key role in shaping and continuously improving the developer experience across TBC’s platforms.

The role is focused on enabling internal and external developers/engineers to seamlessly discover, integrate, and build on TBC’s platforms by accelerating API adoption, reducing integration friction, and strengthening the overall developer ecosystem.

This position combines technical understanding, product thinking, and ecosystem engagement to deliver measurable improvements in developer usability, onboarding efficiency, and platform adoption.

Key Responsibilities

Developer Journey & Experience Optimization

  • Design and continuously improve the end-to-end developer journey, from onboarding to production integration
  • Identify friction points across the developer experience and drive usability improvements
  • Simplify and accelerate onboarding and integration processes
  • Improve developer self-service capabilities and overall platform accessibility

API Platform Adoption

  • Drive adoption and growth of Business API Banking (BAB) platforms
  • Enable fast, reliable, and scalable partner integrations
  • Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to improve developer-facing experiences and integration flows
  • Support measurable growth in API usage and partner onboarding efficiency

Developer Portal & Tooling

  • Drive the evolution and continuous improvement of the developer portal experience
  • Improve documentation standards, SDKs, code samples, onboarding flows, and sandbox environments
  • Enhance developer tooling usability, discoverability, and accessibility
  • Promote best practices for developer enablement and platform usability

 

Developer Feedback & Insights

  • Collect, structure, and translate developer feedback into actionable improvements
  • Identify developer pain points and advocate for improvements across platform and product teams
  • Establish continuous feedback loops between developers and internal teams
  • Use qualitative and quantitative insights to drive data-informed decisions and prioritization

Internal Developer Experience

  • Improve developer experience for internal engineering teams
  • Optimize onboarding, documentation, and shared developer tools
  • Support engineering productivity and enablement initiatives
  • Promote consistency and usability across internal developer platforms and workflows

Developer Community & Engagement

  • Support and strengthen developer engagement initiatives including meetups, hackathons, tech talks, and ecosystem activities
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external developer communities
  • Help position TBC as a technology and platform-driven organization within the developer ecosystem
  • Contribute to developer advocacy, technical credibility, and platform awareness initiatives

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical understanding, product mindset, and experience working with developer ecosystems and platform adoption initiatives.

  • Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, and developer platforms
  • Understanding of developer workflows, onboarding journeys, and technical enablement processes
  • Product mindset with strong usability and developer-centric thinking
  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, product, business, and external partners
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Experience with developer documentation, tooling, SDKs, sandbox environments, or platform ecosystems
  • Ability to identify friction points and drive measurable usability improvements
  • Experience supporting developer adoption, engagement, or platform growth initiatives
  • Analytical and data-informed approach to measuring developer experience and adoption outcomes
