The successful candidate for this role will ensure that the company abides with the set of laws implemented by the state related to taxes and hand financial transactions. Other tasks of chief accountant include monitoring financial position, financial performance and cash flows of the company. Revising any discrepancies of reports and checking the company’s assets and liabilities that could affect its equity in the future.

The investment accountant performs a variety of professional accounting duties like investment accounting and its administration, financial reporting, month end reconciliation work, analyzing the financial information, organizing the accounts, managing the checking of accounts and maintaining the relevant legal documents, etc. Thus, he/she plays a crucial role in ensuring the financial controls are in proper place and making sure that all the relevant reports are accurate and compliant with the required standards, rules, and regulations.

• Responsible for day to day finance and accounts operations
• Ensure adherence to company’s policies and procedures and coordination in audit procedures
• Proactively performs preventive quality controls and initiates corrective actions when necessary
• Produce accounting reports and monthly/quarterly/yearly statistics
• Processes and controls invoices, budget and payroll
• Cooperates with tax authorities in case of tax reviews

• University degree in Accounting or Finance
• A post graduate degree in a related field is considered an asset
• 2 -3 years of progressive experience in accounting
• Knowledge of the English language
• Very good knowledge of MS Office applications and especially Excel
• High standards of business ethics and professional conduct

• Capacity to organize time and plan actions effectively so as to meet simultaneous deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Perseverance and results orientation
• Precision and reliability
• Ability to work autonomously
