Job Description

This position is available in any TAPI EU country + Israel

The Head of Europe Sales leads  TAPI's largest and high strategic important commercial regions, representing more than 40% of the company's third-party sales business  Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer and serving on the Global Commercial Leadership Team, this role is responsible for driving sustainable growth, delivering ambitious financial targets, and strengthening TAPI's position across the European pharmaceutical market.
 

Leading a team across multiple countries, the successful candidate will define and execute the regional commercial strategy, build strong customer partnerships, and identify new growth opportunities in a complex and highly competitive market. Beyond commercial performance, the role is expected to elevate commercial excellence by driving a more data-driven, disciplined, and customer-focused sales organization,
 

The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with strong execution capabilities, balancing short-term business results with long-term value creation. They are comfortable operating in a global matrix environment, influencing cross-functional stakeholders, developing high-performing teams, and contributing to key business decisions that shape TAPI's future growth. This is a highly visible leadership role with significant impact on the company's commercial success and future direction.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the European commercial growth strategy, delivering sustainable revenue and market share growth.
  • Lead one of TAPI's largest commercial regions, ensuring achievement of sales, profitability, and cash collection targets.
  • Develop go-to-market and customer strategies that strengthen TAPI's competitive position and accelerate growth.
  • Build and expand executive-level customer relationships, creating long-term strategic partnerships.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and provide direction on pricing, account, and business development strategies.
  • Drive commercial excellence through data-driven decision making, best practices, and performance management.
  • Inspire, coach, and develop a high-performing sales organization across multiple European markets.
  • Challenge the status quo and champion innovative approaches that improve commercial effectiveness and customer value.
  • Partner closely with Supply Chain, R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Marketing, and Operations to deliver on customer and business commitments.
  • Provide market insights and customer perspectives to support portfolio and new product decisions.
  • Collaborate with global commercial leaders to drive coordinated key account strategies and business growth.
  • Represent TAPI within industry forums, trade associations, and major customer and market events.
  • Foster an enterprise mindset, balancing regional priorities with broader company objectives.
  • Uphold the highest standards of compliance, ethics, safety, and environmental responsibility.
  • Travel Requirements: International - 50%

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; a scientific background (Chemistry, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related field) is preferred but not essential.
  • Proven commercial leadership experience within the pharmaceutical, API, CDMO, specialty chemicals, or related industries, including significant experience leading high-performing sales teams and managing strategic customer relationships.
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with a track record of delivering results, driving growth, and executing complex commercial plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence within a global matrix organization, balancing multiple priorities and stakeholders across functions and geographies.
  • Strong understanding of international pharmaceutical markets, competitive dynamics, regulatory environments, and commercial business practices.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior executives both internally and externally.
  • Commercially curious and externally focused, with a strong network and understanding of industry trends, emerging technologies, and market opportunities.
  • Strong business acumen and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to identify opportunities, solve complex challenges, and drive business outcomes.
  • Self-driven, resilient, and execution-oriented leader with a passion for developing people and building high-performing teams.
