Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Attend to mechanical breakdowns and rectification through job orders and permits, ensuring minimal plant downtime.
- Coordinate with other service teams to resolve plant issues and manage work order prioritization.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and overhauling of cGMP equipment, critical equipment, and subparts according to schedule.
- Conduct health checks on tanks, vessels, flame arresters, and safety valves; rectify identified problems promptly.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, shift logbooks, and history cards in accordance with GMP guidelines.
- Ensure housekeeping standards across the workshop, plant area, and assigned premises whilst maintaining safety and GMP compliance.
- Perform mechanical LOTO procedures in accordance with safety guidelines and conduct routine site inspections to identify potential issues.
- Develop and oversee scheduled preventive maintenance programs to extend asset lifespan and prevent unexpected breakdowns.
- Mentor, train, and evaluate maintenance shift staff; create daily and weekly schedules based on technician skills and workload demands.
- Manage emergency repairs efficiently, oversee third-party vendors and external contractors, and enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Ensure equipment and facilities operate safely and efficiently whilst minimizing downtime and managing assigned maintenance budgets.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
• Qualification: I.T.I / Diploma (Mechanical)
• Experience: Minimum 9-10 years in plant maintenance
• Mandatory Requirement: Experience in API Manufacturing Facility
