We’re looking for a proactive Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with strong expertise in plant maintenance, cGMP equipment, and engineering operations. If you excel at troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns, executing preventive maintenance, ensuring safety and GMP compliance, managing permits and CAPA activities, and supporting reliable plant operations, this opportunity is for you. Experience with equipment overhauling, LOTO implementation, audit readiness, utility systems, and preparation of engineering drawings such as P\&ID, PFD, equipment layouts, and plant layouts will be highly valued.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for attending / rectification of mechanical breakdowns in the plant through job orders / permits.
2. Co-ordinate with other service team for problem rectification in plant.
3. Responsible for getting the material from Engineering Store for the respective work to be carried out.
4. Responsible to attend the breakdown/ maintenance work pending from previous shift and maintaining the house keeping at the work place.
5. Responsible to carry out the preventive maintenance / overhauling of cGMP equipment, critical equipment and its subparts etc. as per schedule.
6. Maintaining and updating general shift logbook/history card on daily basis.
7. Responsible for Permit issuance & safety compliance of assigned plant.
8. Responsible for Job order/Permit tracking of assigned plant.
9. Responsible for CCM/CAPA/SLT tracking of assigned plant.
10. Responsible for OPEX board management of engg.
11. Responsible for CAPA and deviation closure and updation to plant of assigned plant.
12. Housekeeping of workshop, plant area and outside premises in which he is working.
13. Responsible for upkeepment of equipment yard and scrap management.
14. Ready for any kind of external and internal Audits.
15. Maintain the Plants as per safety and GMP Guideline.
16. Responsible for completion of SLT and safety points compliance in assigned plant.
17. Carry out health checking of tanks, vessel, flame arrester, safety valve, etc. & rectify the problem.
18. Carry out mechanical LOTO as per Safety Guide lines.
19. Maintain documents as per GMP guidelines.
20. Preparation of Equipment Layout, Plant Layout, P & ID (Piping & Instrumentation Diagram), PFD (Process Flow Diagram) & Civil Drawings.

The ideal candidate will have: 

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. (Mechanical)

• Experience: Minimum 7 years of plant maintenance experience

• Mandatory Requirement: Experience in an API plant
